It’s no secret that I enjoy Muskoka, so when Chloe and Rob asked me to shoot their wedding, instant yes.
I met Chloe through her not-for-profit Connected in Motion when she asked me to do her web design work. Connected in Motion aims to get people with Type 1 into the outdoors, something I truly support. Chloe and Rob spend as much time as they can outdoors, Chloe a canoe trip guide and Director of Connected in Motion, Rob a wilderness first aid instructor also helping Chloe keep her Connected in Motion dream alive.
I couldn’t imagine their wedding any other way: lakeside in Muskoka. Rob’s family cottage on Lake of Bays provided the perfect venue for the ceremony and reception. Traditions be damned. Golf on the dock, stand-up paddle boards, a bride paddling herself in to the wedding on the dock, 65 of their closest friends and a great party late into the night.
