Fall in Algonquin Park, can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be. Well, there’s one thing more important, celebrating my wedding anniversary. Unfortunately this year, peak colour in the park and my anniversary lined up on the same weekend. Thankfully I was able to sneak out to the park at 5am on Saturday and get a few hours of quality time in along Highway 60 for sunrise. Turns out, this was a blessing in disguise. While leaving the park around 3pm, 400 cars were lined up to get into the park. Lesson learned: Sunrise is the better choice in Algonquin Park on Thanksgiving.
