After shooting their engagement session in June, I knew Florence and Ihor’s wedding was going to be an incredible day. Packed with tradition and customs, this was the first Ukrainian Orthodox wedding I’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Their location for the ceremony, St. Elias Church in Brampton, was a breathtaking venue full of colour and light. From there, the celebration moved to The Venetian in Vaughan for a night of fine dining, games, a Ukrainian bread and salt tradition as well as a live Ukrainian dance performance featuring swords and spears.
