FAQS

• Where are you based out of?

I'm currently based out of downtown Toronto and photograph weddings across the G.T.A. and up to Muskoka. We've even gone as far north as Moose Factory, Ontario.

• How long have you been shooting weddings?

I assisted my first wedding in 2006 and have been photographing them for Mike Last Photo since 2008. My very first wedding was at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club and it rained the entire day. I've had much better luck since then.

• When should we do our photos? Can you help with the timeline?

While I'm not a wedding planner, I know the big day can be quite a balancing act. If you need some help with your timeline to ensure a stress-free day and great images, I'm happy to walk through the timeline with you and provide some insight from years of experience.

• How many photos do we get?

You should expect to receive between 500 and 700 edited, high-resolution images. Some weddings will have a bit more, depending on the wedding day. Big families, large guest lists, travel times or a lot of time for portraits will increase the number of photos.

• How long does it take to get our photos after the wedding?

Within a week of the wedding you can expect to receive a blog post containing 25-30 photos of your big day to share with friends and family. Within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day you can expect your online gallery to be available.

• Are there any extra costs after the wedding?

There are no hidden fees or extras that you need to purchase after the wedding. You receive the right to print the photos for yourself. We offer you (and your guests if you'd like) the option to purchase physical prints through the online gallery in order to ensure the best possible quality, but you are free to download the images and print them yourself. I always recommend using a professional photo lab when possible to be sure your images won't fade over time.
